Beginning November 1st, families across the United States will no longer receive SNAP/EBT benefits. In New Mexico, approximately 21% of families – around 457,000 households – rely on this assistance. The suspension means many could face serious food insecurity in the coming weeks.
In response, the Albuquerque community is stepping up to support children and families during this challenging time. Starting November 1st, the organizations listed below will be offering free meals for children until SNAP benefits are reinstated.
